Har ki Dun Trek
Located in the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary in Uttarakhand, Har Ki Dun is a scenic trek in the Garhwal Himalayas. 25 km in 2-3 days. The trek starts from Sankari village and weaves through Taluka, Gangad and Osla villages. The trails are covered in dense forest all the way to Osla and offer views of the original Paradise Rohini peak. When done right from May to June, the trip features a variety of weather patterns. Summer showcases warm days, flowers and a special August Har Ki Dun celebration. Autumn paints the valley with vibrant colors with little rain. The easy downhill walk ends at Marinda Taal, culminating in a 7-day trek for ages 9 and up.
